How Agriplot help you
01
Suppliers Mapping
Suppliers mapping is intended for companies with mill list information aiming to meet EUDR requirements. Through analyses of mills at the landscape or district level, Agriplot can pinpoint the land plots of potential supply sheds, including oil palm estates, related smallholders, outgrowers, and independent smallholders. Geospatial data will be provided in a format consistent with recognized legal boundaries in the national land registration system to ensure adherence to EUDR requirements.

This dataset is an exceptional tool for managing agricultural land and ensuring supply chain transparency. It delivers standardized geolocation data, specifying the latitude, longitude, and boundary perimeters of planted areas. This system excels at identifying land plots larger than four hectares within supply shed areas, thereby improving land-use monitoring. Additionally, Inovasi Agriplot provides detailed insights into various entities within the supply shed, including owned plantations, third-party plantations, schemed operations, and independent smallholders working through dealers.

The information is meticulously organized using polygons that match administrative or regional boundaries. Furthermore, Inovasi Agriplot offers crucial information regarding the legal ownership of land plots, based on land registration data. It also includes data on the age profiles of commodities, thus providing a comprehensive view of the agricultural landscape and its stakeholders.
02
Compliance Monitoring
The EUDR regulation mandates compliance, which can be broadly categorized into two segments: legality compliance and deforestation compliance. Legality compliance pertains to the thoroughness of permits and the legality of products intended for the European market. On the other hand, deforestation compliance involves demonstrating that products destined for the European market have been free from deforestation activities since the EUDR cut-off date, which was 31 December 2020.

Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and expertise within our team, Agriplot Innovation can assess whether products from your supply chain adhere to legality and deforestation compliance. This streamlines the process of fulfilling the EUDR Due Diligence System requirements.
  • Legality Compliance
Legal compliance is a critical requirement of the EUDR and requires collection and analysis of relevant official documentation at national and district levels. Agriplot can provide additional information on the legality attributes of suppliers through the inclusion of relevant references and indicators for outgrowers and independent smallholders. Relevant information is filtered and curated to ensure the highest accuracy before being added as a key attribute and layered onto individual suppliers within the supply shed. Datasets will be provided for the entire supply shed based on evidence of compliance or relevance for each indicator.

Attributes reviewed to assess legality compliance:
    • National Land Register
    • Regional Land and Permit Documents
    • Company Information
    • Court Records
    • National Forestland
    • EQ Global Database
    • Business Registration
  • Deforestation Compliance
Since 2014, our supplier group monitoring has delivered valuable insights into deforestation with precise and actionable data, and it will continue to support EUDR implementation. Verifying that there is no deforestation is a crucial requirement for suppliers to comply with the EUDR. Our verification efforts will employ bi-weekly deforestation monitoring and track supplier activities to detect potential deforestation and non-compliance. Our verification methodology will include:
    • Multiple remote sensing image providers: ESA, ESRI’s Living Atlas, Google Earth, ISRO, LAPAN, Planet, Sentinel Hub, and USGS;
    • Multiple processing platforms: Earth Engine and Sentinel Hub; EU Tropical Moist Forest (TMF)
    • Multiple data sets: Landsat, Modis, Planet, Sentinel, UAV composites (where available), and WorldView;
    • Image accuracy: <1 to 10 meters, depending on source.
03
Risk Assessment
Risk assessments will be carried out at district and lower jurisdictional levels to verify potential risk profiles and specific risk categories in supply sheds. Applying EUDR risk level designations, a scoring system will be used to evaluate individual growers and suppliers against key questions that are determinants of the various risk categories. Scoring for each key question will be aggregated into a risk benchmark to determine risk level (e.g., medium, high).
  • Deforestation Risk:
    • Evidence of remaining forest, if available
    • Status of remaining forest in spatial planning
    • Deforestation trends in oil palm cultivation over the past 10 years
    • Policies or regulations for mitigating deforestation
  • Legal Risk:
    • Plots inside permanent forest reserve (PRF)
    • Plots without permission or not registered in the land registration system
    • Existence of Indigenous Peoples
    • Reliable data/maps on Indigenous Peoples
Policy or regulation on recognition of Indigenous Peoples
  • Traceability Risk:
    • Presence of deforestation for oil palm after EUDR cut-off date
    • Presence of numerous independent smallholders and palm oil dealers
    • Presence of numerous independent mills
    • Presence of large oil palm plantations without mills
04
Risk Mitigation
Products originating from areas at risk of EUDR violations, whether due to legal issues or deforestation, may face obstacles in entering the EU market. After the risk assessment process is completed and potential or existing risks are identified in the supply chain, Agriplot will assist in mitigating these risks through its risk mitigation services based on priority supply shed risk assessment. This will involve implementing various preventive measures to ensure that your supply chain meets regulatory standards in the future.

Risk Mitigation Approach:
  • Traceability to plantation data integration
  • Palm Oil Dealer Support Program
  • ISH Support Program
  • Auditor Training Program and Standardization
  • Policy and Procedure Assistance
05
Reporting
Create comprehensive and customizable reports tailored to your needs. The platform enables users to generate due diligence statements for both estate and mill levels, ensuring compliance with EUDR and other sustainability regulations. These reports provide detailed insights into supply chain performance, risk assessments, and operational compliance, making it easier to communicate findings with stakeholders and authorities.
06
Workspace
The secure and interactive workspace allows users to upload their area of interest (AOI), such as specific agricultural plots or concession boundaries. The platform automatically calculates metrics like deforestation risks, compliance levels, and land-use statistics within the AOI. This feature enhances collaboration by enabling teams to share data, manage projects, and streamline workflows efficiently, ensuring all critical information is centralized and actionable.
